Every word is born from silence. But silence never disappears.
Before any word is spoken, there is a pause—a space. That space is not empty. It is full of presence, of potential, of awareness itself. In Atma Yoga, we return to this original space, not to escape words, but to remember where they come from.
Words are form.
Silence is source.
Have you noticed it? The pause just before you speak? The breath between thoughts? That still moment before intention becomes sound? That is where Truth lives—not as information, but as vibration.
The Word may carry meaning.
But the Silence carries Being.
This practice invites you to rest in that space—not to resist speaking, but to touch the ground from which all speech arises.
And so we ask:
• Can you remain with the silence that exists even while you speak?
• Can you speak from the stillness, not instead of it?
That’s not silence as absence.
It’s silence as origin.
